Duo Scope support

The hinge reading is unavailable

A live hinge angle requires iPhone Duo. On another iPhone, use Preview to adjust the model angle and open Explore to use the guides and practice activities.

The practice layout does not change other apps

Split View and app-pair exercises run inside Duo Scope. Use the step-by-step instructions to repeat the gestures in iOS. Camera, FaceTime and StandBy features are explained for use in their own apps or settings.

Delete the saved note and progress

On Live, tap the information button beside the display readings, then open Privacy and support. Choose Delete saved note and progress. You can also delete the app to remove its local data. Device backups are managed in iOS settings.

Video playback

The sample video is included in the app and does not need an internet connection. Tap Play video to start it. Tap the video to show Apple's playback controls; Picture in Picture is available when supported by the system.

Compatibility

Duo Scope requires iOS 27.0 or later. Live hinge readings on Duo require iOS 27.1 or later. Apple Pencil (USB-C) support on Duo and Edge Light need iOS 27.2 or later. Finger drawing works without a Pencil. StandBy, Camera and FaceTime features require supported hardware and software.
